CORE PROGRAM: Core classes are the foundation of our program and are included with all memberships.

 

CARDIOVASCULAR TRAINING:

 R.I.P.P.E.D - The One Stop Body Shock!!!!Resistance – Interval – Power- Pliometrics – Endurance – Diet.

STEP Participants use an adjustable height platform to perform fun & challenging stepping sequences with varying intensity & impact based on exerciser preference.

STEP & TAE   Part Step class, part MMA inspired workout - a great combination of two popular cardio workouts

30/30 STEP & PZ – 30 minutes of each- Cardio Resistance in one workout

CARDIOBLAST Fast paced interval style class which may include low & high impact, step, MMA, sliding, drills, circuit work, jump rope, pliometrics & muscle conditioning.

CARDIOMIX Never the same workout twice! Enjoy a variety of cardio work in one class.

ZUMBA! Experience the Latin dance craze set to authentic Latin music. Salsa, cha-cha, & mamba your way to fitness. Learn the steps in an easy to follow format. Ditch the workout & join the party!

Cardio Jam: Enjoy a fun cardio class using the latest dance moves! Burn calories and move your body!

TURBOKICKThe name says it all – Kick it up!Intense kickboxing moves, drills and martial arts sequences set to motivating music to push you!

MUSCLE CONDITIONING/ RESISTANCE/WEIGHT TRAINING

POWERZONE Group weightlifting class using barbells and weights that conditions all major muscle groups in a format focusing on safety, alignment & results.

BALLZONE  PowerZone on a stability ball! More corework, improved balance & incredible muscle conditioning is accomplished by performing resistance exercises on the ball.

PILATES   The original mat routine to tone, strengthen & lengthen the body focusing on the body’s core or “powerhouse” using controlled muscle contraction. Bring a mat or towel.

CORECONDITIONING Target the powerhouse with a variety of exercises focusing on nothing but the core.

ZumbaTONING Shake it! Rock it! Tone it! Serious muscle sculpting for party animals!

SILVERSNEAKERS Fitness Program:

The Nation’s leading older-adult exercise program that improves overall fitness & social interaction.

SilverSneakers Classic Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living.  Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance.  A chair is available if needed for seatedor standing support.

SilverSneakers Circuit Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout.  Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball is alternated with low-impact aerobic choreography.  A chair is used for standing support, stretching, and relaxation exercises.

SilverSneakers Yoga SilverSneakers Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses.  Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement.  Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity

BOOTCAMP High Intensity cardio designed for those wanting a challenge. This free form class may include drills, calisthenics & exercises derived from military training, sports conditioning

YOGA Improve muscle strength, elasticity & tone. Increase balance, coordination, range of motion & flexibility with traditional yoga poses performed in a flowing vinyasa style. Relaxation & meditation complete the practice.

Fitness Kickboxing Combination of Kcikboxing and interval training! Real techniques used by Kick boxers!

Total Gym Only at FITCLUB! The ultimate resistance class for total body conditioning on one machine. Included in Premium Membership or with 12 Session packages. Total Gym (TG) training is also available upon request.

BODYPUMP is the original barbell weightlifting program designed to increase your metabolism so you can burn more calories through-out your day as well as tone and tighten your entire body.

 

Aqua Classes

 

CORE PROGRAM: Core classes are the foundation of our program and are included with all memberships. All classes not available at all locations.

WaterINMotion The newest aqua exercise that provides a low impact, high-energy challenge for participants of all ages and fitness levels.

 HydroFlex A low intensity water workout designed specifically for those recovering from injuries or surgery, older adults, overweight individuals & those with physical limitations such as arthritis, bursitis, osteoporosis & back problems.

 HydroMotion A slightly higher intensity class than HydroFlex. Some mild rebounding is included but not required. Alternative moves are offered. Instructions are given throughout the class.

 HydroMotionPlus Muscle Endurance is a “plus” when you take your basic cardio workout to water, and this class is all movement all the time! Consecutive classes may include additional muscle conditioning.

 AquaFit Safe, fun invigorating class. Ideal for all fitness levels. A great cardio-class. Resistance equipment is used but not required.

 AquaSurge An exhilarating workout that offers a high intensity cardio workout and light toning. Resistance equipment is used but not required.

 Cuffed and Buffed A terrific resistance class that will increase your strength and muscular definition. You may purchase your own cuffs at the front desk or you may participate without using cuffs.

 Adult Lap Swim All lanes are for lap swimming only and for members 18 and over.

 Open Swim Members may use the pool for swimming, walking, or jogging. Members under 18 must be accompanied by a parent and may only use a lane for lap swimming.

 Competitive Lap Swim An opportunity for serious lap swimmers to work on high intensity interval training with emphasis on speed work & VO2max enhancing.

Independent Exercise Adults are welcome to use the pool for independent rehabilitation, exercising, walking, jogging, or swimming. Designed for multiple participants, attendance may prohibit lap-style activities. A spirit of respectful cooperation is required. Individuals must be 18 or older to participate.

 

POOL INFORMATION

 Lap pool is 75 feet long by 25 feet wide.

 35 laps (70 lengths) = 1 mile

 

CLASS LEVELS For your convenience, our classes are designated by level to assist in choosing the classes best suited for you. If you have any questions, please ask one of our certified group exercise Instructors for assistance.

Level 1 – Entry level classes consisting of exercises performed with little or no impact and a lower intensity level. Detailed instruction given.

Level 2 – Intermediate level classes containing some impact and moderate intensity that participants may adjust based on skill level

 Level 3 – Advanced level classes containing high impact and/or above average intensity. For experienced exercisers.

 

PREMIUM PROGRAM Classes are included with Advantage Membership or a Premium Program punch card. (Includes CycleFit early registration)

 

AquaLogix(60min) A specialty class that uses a patented system that tones muscles, builds strength, reduces fat, increases coordination, enhances cardiovascular fitness, increases flexibility & coordination. A very intense class that offers maximum benefits in a short amount of time.

 

Family Swim is a benefit of our Premium Program. Time is reserved for families to enjoy fun in the pool. Parents must remain at the pool area & supervise children. Please see all pool rules, policies & procedures for detailed information. There are no lifeguards. *Illinois law states that no one under the age of 16 swim without adult supervision when there are no lifeguards.

 

SWIM LESSONS

Group swim lessons (45 min) For children 3yrs & up (3-5 per group) are easy to join. Purchase a swim lesson package & then simply call the facility 24 hrs in advance (48hrs for Premium members) to reserve a spot. Note: Regular scheduled group swim lessons for children are available on a seasonal basis, or by arrangement for members in groups of 4 or 5.

 Private Swim Lessons(45 min) By request only for children & adults (see front desk). Requests filled on instructor availability.
